I like to think cooking is a performing art. I just love the way the ingredients of various kinds combine together to bring out something beautiful that we eat. It is not just about eating but finding nourishment and feeding our bodies with the right things.
I find cooking as a low-stress activity as it gives me the opportunity to reflect on what is happening with and around me. It is also a chance sometimes to have a light bulb moment in my work as I am a PhD student; there have been times in this pandemic season that I have has some Aha ideas to help me continue writing my work.
